If you're familiar with Sternberg's theory of "practical intelligence," Goleman's "emotional intelligence," or Gardner's "multiple intelligences" concept, you can resonate to this idea that standard tests of IQ don't necessarily capture our ability to succeed in life through the exercise of other ways of knowing.
